public nuisance number one in a million
casting primitive weapons at bullet proof skyscrapers
thin arms marked with dirt

armed struggle with stones and brittle bones
breaking and entering into enemy homes

setting fascist forts on fire and  
sending slave wage smoke signals to the other soul jahs
as we stole survival scraps from starvation army de-concentration camps  
dived into dumpsters like they was luquillo beach cliffs
and raced like rebel rats through alleys and gutters and ghetto gulags
through the barbwire barrios
passed the politrick pigs patrolling city street cell block shellshock slums  
with gas masks and govern-mental guns  
pointed point blank at nigga native suns
running fast passed ku klux klan sweat shop kops  
and colonial clampdown caretakers  
and factory funeral prison processions in session
tagging our economic epitaph on invisible walls  
as we raced towards temporary autonomous project halls
swift as city sandinista sidewalk zapatistas
dodging bullets like ballet b-boys  
improvising, strategizing and fantasizing an uptown uprising
we seized the time, if only in our mind
empty bellies in knots
nostrils scorched with gas and gun smoke
eyes wet from laughter and tears
