Since 2004, VirtualBoricua.org has been doing its Puerto Rican thang by documenting, honoring - y a veces, regañando - Boricuas of every persuasion. Virtual Boricua s a free and open space where progressive, independent-minded Puerto Ricans of every persuasion can promote their thoughts and passions about all things Boricua.

We cover contemporary news from a progressive vantage point—and showcase Puerto Rican artists. We generally don't cover sports or crime and while we do feature entertainers, VirtualBoricua.org is more about broadening the field to highlight community artists.

We are noncommercial, so there are no advertisements or subscription fees. Aside from an informal mailing list, VirtualBoricua.org has no registration form or guest book, so please visit us often if you want to stay on top of the issues.
